Head Coach Matt Criner

Matt Criner is in his second season as Head Coach of the SGPHS Warriors.  Coach Criner is a 1997 graduate of Charles Page High School in Sand Springs, Oklahoma.  He graduated in 2004 from Oklahoma State University, where he received a B.A. degree in Political Science with a minor in Criminal Science.  While in college, Criner spent one year acting as a volunteer assistant coach at Clyde Boyd Junior High in Sand Springs, OK.  After completing one year as Assistant Coach at Juan Seguin High School in Arlington, Coach Criner came to South Grand Prairie to take over the Warrior Wrestling program.  He teaches World Geography in the 9th Grade Center.

Coach Criner and his wife, Stephanie, have been married since 2004.  They don't have any children, but they do have two beautiful dogs, Mugsy and Ninja.

Coach Mumba is in his first season as Assistant Coach of the Warriors.  He was born and raised in East Chicago , Indiana where he graduated from E.C. Central High School in 1991 while lettering in Football and Wrestling. He played football on scholarship at Coahoma Community College in Clarksdale, Ms Next he transferred to Lane College in Jackson, TN where he continued to play Football and graduated with a B.A. in Criminal Justice in 1995.

Coach Mumba began his coaching career in wrestling and football in 1996 with Pop Warner Football and East Chicago Hawks Freestyle Wrestling Club. After moving to Arlington in 2001 where he continued my career in Law Enforcement with Dallas Police Dept. In 2006, Mumba  began teaching career with Everman ISD .

Mumba became part of the SGP family in 2008-09, coaching Football and Wrestling and teaching Criminal Justice. He is also a Police Officer with Mt. View College in Dallas, Tx.

Citlali Molina is in her first year of coaching wrestling.  Coach Molina is a graduate of Grand Prairie High School. She attended The University of Texas at Arlington and graduated with a BS in Biology-Forensic Biology with a minor in Criminology.  Coach Molina teaches Biology and Environmental Systems, and AP Environmental Science at the 10-12 campus. Coach Molina was an avid boxer for 8 years and is still a big fan of full contact sports. Coach Molina is also a sponsor for Environmental APES Club and Step Team.  In addition to wrestling, Coach Molina coaches long distance track.  She has two boxers and is getting a horse in the near future.
